Turn off the water source if possible

Move valuables to dry areas immediately

Remove items from standing water — prioritize irreplaceables first

Do NOT use household vacuums on standing water

Elevate furniture on aluminum foil or blocks

Remove wet rugs and place flat to dry

Open drawers and cabinet doors for air circulation
